Day 1: Arrive Auckland - Self-drive passengers collect your rental car for your exclusive use until the end of the tour package. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2: Auckland – Waitomo caves – Rotorua - Enroute to Rotorua the highlight is a visit to the Waitomo Glow Worm Caves. This experience is climaxed by drifting silently in a boat on the underground river under the milky way of millions of glow worms on the cavern roof above you. This evening, enjoy a night of truly authentic, traditional culture and entertainment. Join in a time of sharing and feasting to a selection of foods cooked Maori way on hot stones in an authentic earthen oven. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Rotorua - Today’s tour includes Te Puia and its Thermal Valley of roaring geysers, steaming rivers and boiling mud pools. Following this, you will travel to Rainbow Springs to view trout and other wildlife and to the famous Agrodome Sheep Show. Overnight at hotel.
Day4: Rotorua – Dunedin - Self-drive passengers return your car at Rotorua Airport and collect your South Island car on arrival at Dunedin Airport. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5: Dunedin - Day free at leisure to explore Dunedin on own. Overnight at hotel.
Day 6: Dunedin – Queenstown - Self drive passengers, proceed on own to Queenstown. On arrival check in at the Hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7: Queenstown - This is completely free day for you to pursue your own activities. Queenstown offers jet boating, lake cruised, bungy jumping, rafting, horse riding, gondola rides and may be a visit to the Sky Alpine Casino. Overnight at hotel.
Day 8: Queenstown – Milford Sound cruise - An early start as you follow Lake Wakatipu via Kingston arriving at Te Anau for morning tea break (not included). From here you enter Fiordland National Park. Travel through beech forest, passing majestic mountains, on through the Homer Tunnel in time to board your catamaran for the Milford Sound Cruise. You will passMitre Peak, the highest mountain in the world to rise vertically from the sea. View the Stirling and Bowen Falls as you cruise out to the Tasman Sea. Overnight at hotel
Day 9: Queenstown - Today is at leisure to relax or explore Queenstown. Meanwhile, other activities such as exploring historic Arrowtown, scenic walks, eco-tours, shopping, galleries, cafes and an exciting nightlife provide something for everyone all year round. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10:Queenstown – Franz Josef- Travel to the Kawarau Gorge past Lake Dunstan on toward Wanaka. On past Lake Hawea as you head toward "the neck", a stop is made in Makarora before crossing the Southern Alps as you enter the Haast Pass. We pause at Knights Point to view magnificent seascapes. From here pass Lakes Moeraki and Paringa then past Bruce Bay to arrive at the Glaciers region in the evening. Overnight at hotel.
Day 11: Franz Josef – Christchurch - Self-drive passengers travel via Arthur's Pass road en route to Christchurch. Overnight at hotel.
Day 12: Christchurch - Day free at leisure to explore Christchurch on own. Overnight at hotel.
Day 13: Depart Christchurch - Self-drive passengers return your car directly at the airport for flight back to Mumbai.
