It's a very scenic outdoor area which shows Switzerland as it used to be 100 years back with old traditional houses from all regions in Switzerland, old handicrafts including making cheese and chocolate and with all kind of farm animals roaming around. For a visit at the Ballenberg Openair museum people are suggested to take a train to Brienz (20 min. from Interlaken) and a bus to the entrance of the museum (5 min.). Day 6: Lugano - Lucerne - Breakfast at the hotel. You then board your train to Lucerne. Day 7: Lucerne - Mt. Titlis - Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for a full day tour to Mt. Titlis and experience the ICE Flyer. Your Excursion to Mount Titlis – at 3020 m /10’000 ft. From Lucerne the train takes you to the mountain monestry village Engelberg where you board a gondola which takes you up to the Trübsee. You continue your trip by another gondola to Stand and finally the first revolving Titlis Rotair cablecar takes you up to Mount Titlis. For a spectacular, close-up insight into a glacier, visit the glacier cave and ride the Ice Flyer chairlift. You want to enjoy the fun of winter in summer.
